How difficult is arduino? My boy has one as an unopened present, and my younger daughter asked for (and got) a soldering kit for her 12th, so wondering whether it's something she might get to grip with, supported by me?

Thanks..
My next project is to make a current sensor that logs my household consumption in a similar fashion so that I can get graphs and rdata out of it.

I was driving home from work today and I had 5 Live on the radio. They announced that they were going to play some Testament. This caught my attention as I saw them live in around 1987 supporting Anthrax (or was it Saxon) at the Sheffield City Hall.
Anyhow they started the music and it was just someone making mouth drum noises.

Have they sacked Chuck Billy ?

Confused and surprised. Is it some kind of practical joke ? ..... :(

And Today. But at least I can concentrate for longer spells now and I am able to work on a code project a little.

I am really pleased a couple of weeks ago to get this far with creating code to interpret and display results from my rain gauge.

The first one is a bar graph of the rain volumes for the current day and the previous 14 days.

The Second is a graph showing today's rain activity.

The rain gauge is connected to an Arduino which counts the tips and a Raspberry Pi collates the data, processes it and draws the graphs using Matplotlib. It also hosts a database of historic weather data and publishes it on a webserver.

Maria Carey identifies as "Black".

I always thought she was a white woman from a European background.

Today and Yesterday I am pissed off because I have a touch of Flu or at least a heavy cold, despite the fact that I had a flu jab before Christmas.   :gag: :gag: :gag:

This one is quite interesting tho. It's all about the fundamental problem with the cryptocurrency "protocol": The more computing power used to "mine" blocks, the more arbitrarily difficult said mining is made, to keep the rate-of-new-block-generation essentially consistent; and therefore the more it costs to mine a block (in electricity usage).
